RHS student's Kyra Curtis and Elizabeth Fernandez, from Girl Scouts Troop 1718 will receive the Girl Scout Gold Award. They are the first Gold Awards Girl Scouts from Roosevelt High School.

Morgan McEachern a 3rd grader at Centennial Ave. was a HUGE heart hero again this school year!! Morgan raised $1,169 during our annual Hoops/Jump Rope for Heart event. Morgan's outstanding fundraising effort helped Centennial Ave. raise over $2,220 which was the highest we have ever raised!! GREAT WORK MORGAN!!
The Roosevelt ChessNuts have won for the tenth year in a row! Under the direction of Mr. Evans, the students took home 3 trophies ( winning in each age group!). The chess team has students from all five Roosevelt schools. We are so proud of them. Thank you Mr. Evans!
RHS Mathletes Club created a three dimensional pyramid out of 256 equilateral triangles. The students worked for weeks cutting, folding, and hot gluing the pyramids together.

On Sunday, March 12, 2017, Bernardo Dezil received the Art Supervisors Association Senior Scholarship for Roosevelt High School at Farmingdale State College.
Please join us in congratulating Vanessa and Veronica Arriaza. They were both selected to participate in the High School Summer Abroad program, and received the Global Navigator Scholarship from the Council on International Educational Exchange. This life changing experience will allow the Arriaza girls to travel to Germany where they will study abroad for 4 weeks. During this time they will be given the opportunity to acquire skills to navigate across languages, connect with other cultures, and impact global issues in a positive manner.
