We can barely contain our excitement—the Million Fathers March on Friday, September 15th at Centennial School along with 198 schools and organizations registered, participation across 32 states, 143 cities, and even an international presence in Uganda, Africa, this year's march was a resounding success! We had a record 100 incredible dads registered eager to engage with their children's education and communities. We thank Mrs. Tameka Kendrick-Bredwood for her leadership as our Family and Community Liaison. Special recognition to Pastor Jeremy Maynard CEO of Furthering Fathers Inc for his leadership and support.
This year's theme, "The Power of Presence: Fathers Engaged in Education," couldn't be more fitting. Centennial’s involvement sends a powerful message to our children, our communities, and the world at large about the irreplaceable role of fathers. A father’s presence in their child's educational life speaks louder than words—it has a long-lasting impact, instilling confidence, love, and a strong foundation for future success.
