It is with great excitement that, as of yesterday, the Roosevelt High School Roughriders will be performing at the 59th Annual Newsday Marching Band Festival held in Mitchel Field. This marks the start of a new chapter of the HS band program, being that the last time we performed at this event was in 2019. The students are working extremely hard on rehearsing music both inside and on the field, and we are quickly approaching the homecoming game as well as this performance. The details for the night are listed below:
- Wednesday, October 18th is our performance date, we are the 4th group performing that evening.
- In the event of inclement weather, the rain date is set to October 24th
- The start time of the event is 7:00 PM with the gates opening at 6:00 PM
